May 27th, 2009I just finished the Thangles Block of the Month and gave it to Shirley to quilt. You can still get started if you want. Thangles is just $1 a month and includes pattern and fabric.

November 12th, 2008We have finished this years block of the month. Pat did a great job make sure to come by a check it out. I have started makeing next years. We will be using the 1.75 Thangles this year. Later Elaine
Stained Glass Flowers
November 9th, 2008Just finished the Wild Poppies pattern. It is from Brenda Henning’s New book The New Classics Impressionist Stained Glass. The book has four patterns, a Wild Iris, a Forget-Me-Not, a Sunflower, and the Wild Poppies. This went together quick. If you can trace, cut and press you can make any of these. With this technique you are not using bias tape.
